Happy Ground Hog Day! So the ground hog saw his shadow, but it isn't a big deal since the winter so far has been super mild!
Tonight we prepared for the Super Bowl by doing a practice try on the fried chicken in Justin's Turkey Fryer. It worked out well. We had some seriously delicious fried chicken.
Justin is getting better from his creeping crud. I think I might be getting it. I truly love my husband. He shares everything with me. :)
I have essays to begin grading. I have seen a huge improvement over this school year in their writing. I am really proud of what my students have accomplished even if some of their parents like to tell me I am mean and like to set my students up for failure. They say some really hurtful things. I think it is funny that they actually believe I got into this profession to rip children to shreds. It really unleashes the wrath within me and I have to take a time out before responding to their bold accusations via e-mail. They do not dare say it to my face. The world of technology emboldens people with anonymity. Cowards is what I call them. Face to face they have to learn to behave, but hiding behind a computer screen apparently gives them license to be cruel.
Oh well. Have a fabulous evening. I am going to put myself to be to try to fight off any dreaded disease they maybe trying to flatten me.
